GLAM ’18

At this very moment, there is a girl questioning her value.  Questioning her worth.

She is self-loathing due to the increased pounds that she has recently found and silently cursing herself for clothes that just don’t quite seem to fit.

She is shaming herself for all of the things that she should have accomplished by now… comparing herself to all the others… why can’t I be like her?

At this very moment, there is a girl who feels completely alone – although she is standing in a large crowd.

She gazes down at the fresh marks upon her arm – the marks that tell her story to the entire world.

If they could only see.

But she manages to keep it all hidden.

She pretends to be okay – when silently she wonders how much longer she can maintain the mask.

At the end of every day, she finds herself lost – wondering if her breath even matters  –

if there is really Hope for a girl like her.

It is the heart, passion, mission and vision of Daughters of Worth to reach this girl – every girl – to make certain that she truly knows…..

that she she is beautiful.

She is loved.

She is precious.

She is treasured.

She is cherished.

She is enough.

And she has been created for a magnificent purpose – an amazing life work – to live in such a way that others will find hope in her story and grace for their own souls.

To live in such a way that lives are changed simply because she is a girl who has chosen to live out her magnificent purpose – her amazing life work – in a breath-taking way!

Daughters of Worth is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization that is currently serving approxiately 300 girls each month through GLAM (Girls Living a Mission) mentorship and Notes of Hope.

On Saturday, February 17th (from 2-4pm), every single girl that we are currently serving is invited to attend our inaugural GLAM ’18 event, which will be held at Elmhurst Elementary School!

This event will feature: music, fun, laughter, snacks, mini-pampering stations, crafting, service projects, corn hole, and so much more!  Renowned author and speaker, Aquanetta Gordon will serve as our guest speaker for the event!  And… we will be honoring local girls who are using their lives to make a difference in their communities!

This awesome event is offered completely free of charge – in appreciation to our GLAM ’18 Sponsors!
