For anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Montasia Foreman, her gentle heart and precious spirit will certainly capture your attention immediately! Recently, Montasia (a student at JH Rose High School and GLAM Girl of Daughters of Worth) began sharing her voice, her story through inspirational works.

With her blessing and permission, it is my joy to introduce you to the work of Montasia, a girl with a passion and a dream for making certain that every single person knows that their life matters!

Why Does Life Matter?

1 Corinthians 15:10 states, “By the Grace of God, I am what I am.”

Why does my life matter?

For a while, I did not know the answer to that myself. But now, I have a pretty good understanding of it. There are many different reasons your life matters.

One reason is, Your Life Matters because you care enough to regret your mistakes. If you think that your life doesn’t matter right now, that means that you are regretting some of the mistakes that you have made. And that must mean you care.

Your Life Matters because you have the ability to shape your future. No matter the mistakes that you have made in the past, you may not be able to change them – but you can certainly change your future!

Your Life Matters because God picked the perfect soul to put in your body. That soul is yours and only yours. God Himself picked it out especially for you. No one else has a soul exactly like yours.

Your Life Matters because every good thing you have said to someone has had a positive affect on them. Even when you told little Sally that she looked nice today, it changed her entire attitude for the day.

Believe it or not, your life matters because God created you to be like Him! Genesis 5:27 says, “so God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God, He created them, male and female, He created them.” Your life matters. And don’t ever forget it!

Remember, Christ loves you, and so do I!

Lots of Love, Tay

Thank you, Montasia “Tay” for sharing your heart, your voice, and your love with the readers of Daughters of Worth! Together, we can all serve others as we remind each person that they are truly loved and valuable – and that their life matters!
